Drywall Repair FAQ

Common questions from homeowners planning drywall repair work.

What kinds of drywall damage do you repair?

We repair holes, cracks, dents, water-damaged sections, damaged seams, and other common wall and ceiling issues.

Can you match the repaired area to the surrounding wall?

Yes. We aim for a clean, consistent finish so the repaired area blends as closely as possible with the existing surface.

Do you handle drywall repair after water damage?

Yes. Drywall repair is often part of water damage recovery, and we can address affected areas as part of a broader restoration scope.

Do you repair ceilings too?

Yes. We repair both drywall walls and ceilings, including damage from leaks, impacts, and settling.

Is drywall repair available for small jobs?

Yes. We can help with both smaller repairs and drywall work tied to larger remodeling or restoration projects.

Drywall repairs: preparation, patching and finish

Holes, damaged corners and opened walls need different repair methods. We review the surrounding drywall, provide backing where needed, patch or replace the affected sheets, and tape and coat the joints. Sanding, texture blending, primer and finish painting should be identified in your estimate so the finish expectations are clear. Existing textures and paint can vary, so an invisible match cannot be promised.

For water-damaged drywall, the leak or moisture source needs attention before the wall is closed. If damaged wood is exposed, we can review dry rot repairs and framing repairs as part of a defined scope. See our home repair services for related work.
